We are having a nice quiet family birthday party as my daughter hasn’t had the chance to make any little friends yet as she has not experienced life in a creche or daycare.  I guess we have plenty of years ahead of us for parties like those!

I am aware of the ever increasing growth market into green products and recyclable gifts and due to this awareness, our research has taken us in a new direction.  We have decided to venture into a new line of clothing for children made from 100% recyclable silk.

The silk is taken directly from vintage saris in India and turned into fashionable wrap skirts for little girls aged between 2 and 5.  The skirts are themselves made in India and are one size fits most due to the wrap around style.  The combination of two contrasting silk fabrics is just stunning and because they are fashioned from vintage fabrics, the skirts are often one off designs or created from limited fabrics.
