A Bookshelf Shortage in Melbourne

September 26th, 2007 by tonicgifts

I have been trying to hunt down bookshelves in Melbourne for the last couple of months but there seems to be either a shortage or a conspiracy - not sure which.  I see bookshelves in the flyers teasingly enticing me to visit their stores and by the time I do, the stores in question are sold out.

Well to my surprise my parents visited today and dropped off not one but two bookshelves for the growing range of books on the Tonic Gifts site.  I was very pleased to see them (both my parents and the shelves) and will have a fun evening unpacking the boxes and placing the books on the shelves.  Well it is fun to me - I just love the smell of new books.

Note to self - must get a life.

:) I was on the same hunt recently for shelves, but in NSW. A trip to IKEA finally found a winner - so enjoy your new shelves! I am mine!

I am now on the hunt for another one - I have just purchased 175 golden books for my daughter from ebay and we are looking forward to their arrival - we are just unsure where to put them - lol.

175 golden books! wow, I didn’t realise there were so many! The are such classics though, I am sure your daughter will love them.
